Peanut Butter Dog Treats

My Dogs Love Peanut Butter Dog Treats

If I put them in a pastic container or a ziploc bag, they mold within 2 days. Some ingredients are chicken broth, wheat flour, cornmeal and yeast. I even leave them in the oven over night. Can I put them in a dehydrator?

Keep enough out for your dog for 2 days and freeze the rest. Take them out as you need them. You must love your baby a lot to make homemade biscuits for him/her.

I’m looking for recipes that are made with human grade ingredients that a dog can eat, or any pet for that matter! Ideally for treats such as biscuits, cupcakes, carob drops… things a dog/cat/pet could have as home made treat or for a special occasion. Thank you!

I want to do exactly that. I make dog biscuits in my home for my dogs and family/friends,but I want to know how I calculate the percentages of protien, fat, moisture, and fiber so that I can label it on the back because I eventually hope to expand and sell my biscuits. Thanks! :)

The only accurate way you can do that is by getting the ingredients scientifically analyzed by the amount put in the biscuit. This could be costly but is an important investment if you plan to sell them.

If you are just looking for an approximation you can do your own calculations but finding out the percentages in each ingredient and then determing how much it contributes to the overall product.

If you go to http://www.nutritiondata.com/ you can find almost any ingredient and find out what its nutritional make-up is.

Good luck!
